Here are some of the reviews I have received from my clients. Being able to help dog's live their best lives and their human companions to enjoy their company and love is my ultimate goal. Every scenario is unique, which is why all my training is bespoke to the individual dog and their living situation.

Jimmy -
"Sarah is incredibly empathetic, caring, and pragmatic about helping all dogs and their hapless humans. By recommending just one tip, she helped me transform how my fear-reactive dog and I relate to our world together every day. And now we are able to relax and enjoy our adventures because we're both more equipped to handle his big feelings!" 2024

"Sarah is a fountain of knowledge and continues to provide expertise for our hyperactive dog. Her calm and understanding approach focuses on understand first 'why' he is behaving in a certain way and working from their to apply suitable techniques."
Rachel
"Sarah has shared some great tips in regard to my extremely stubborn / noisy mini dachshund - she was able to pin point the reasons for barking and help us find different ways to control it! Sarah is so helpful and has a great understanding of dogs!"
Jim and Pip
Sarah identified very quickly what was causing Pip’s anxiety. She built a great trust with Pip. She showed me how I could change my behaviour and helped Pip to understand that the world wasn’t so scary after all.
Odette and Pugsley
" Sarah worked with us to mitigate our pug's reflux problem using her extensive knowledge of dog digestive issues and helped us pinpoint which foods caused his reflux. Pugsley is now thriving on a fish based diet and the reflux has improved greatly. I highly recommend Sarah Hunter

Sarah helped me with my reactive collie. Here is someone who understands how dogs and humans interact and how to communicate that easily and effectively. Highly recommended.
Our 15 year old border terrier had been struggling for a while with chronic pain and we were paying for monthly injections at the vet which did little to help. Sarah suggested a homeopathic remedy which worked wonders. A few months on and she is bouncing around on the beach and so much happier.
Thank you Sarah for all your help and advice, you’re a star!

Kirsty and Finn - From Muzzle to Fun!
I first reached out to Sarah because of her behaviourist approach and impressive skillset. As someone who is naturally sky and struggles with anxiety and mental health, it was really important for me to find someone I felt safe with - someone approachable, kind and understanding. From the very beginning, Sarah was all of those things and more. You can tell she genuinely loves what she does and truely cares for dogs (and their humans!) she works with. Most importantly, my dog Finn absoluely adores her.
I contacted Sarah after months of Finn's reactivity wordening. It started when he was around seven months old, and initially i thought it was a teenage phase. But it quickly escalated - he began lunging, pulling, barking, snapping, and growling at passing dogs. Every walk felt like a battle, and more often than not I ended in tears. As someone aspiring to work in dog training myslef, I felt like a complete failure, and my confidence took a huge hit.
Working with Sarah has completely changed things. Not only has she helped me rebuild my confidence with handling Finn, but she's also helped me regain my confidence in myself. Her guidance and knowledge have been invaluable - not just in training but in understanding Finn as a whole. She's also supported me with decisionsaround Finn's health and nutrition, which have made a real difference in his overall wellbeing.
Perhaps, most importantly, Sarah helped me get to the root of Finn's reactivity. With her help, we discovered that his microchip had migrated down his shoulder, causing him pain and triggering much of his behaviour. Her support gave me the confidence to advocate for having it moved, which made a huge difference to Finn's comfort and happiness.
I'm incredibly grateful for Sarah's help - she made a world of difference for the both of us!
LUNA - RESCUE
Sarah has been a massive help to training our anxious rescue dog, Luna. Luna is scared of the world, but with Sarah's support and guidance, we've been able to implement techniques to help Luna adjust and desensitise her to her triggers. After only 1 session with Sarah, we noticed a huge improvement, not just with Luna but also with our ability to handle her when she was in her flight/fight mode. We've now had 2 sessions and Luna just keeps on improving. Alongside the sessions, Sarah regularly reaches out to check on Luna and she is always available to answer any questions we may have. Sarah really goes above and beyond and really understands how to help dogs, especially scared dogs. It's important to note that we have worked with other dog trainers before and we never saw the success that we have with Sarah. She also has tonnes of materials to lean on and provides thorough and detailed reports so that you can track your dogs process. Sarah's support has literally changed our lives and we're so grateful for this. I would 100% recommend Sarah to train your dog because she really gets it, and genuinely cares.
